In 1988 in partnership with General Motors Holden Tom Walkinshaw founded Holden Special Vehicles and the Holden Racing Team, working side-by-side in a dedicated facility in the south-eastern suburbs of Melbourne.

Today known as the Toll Holden Racing Team, the team has grown to become one of Australia’s most recognisable sporting brands.

In its long history the team has consistently demonstrated winning form, experience and innovation, amassing six Championships and five Bathurst 1000 titles, as well as in excess of 60 round victories – exceeding that of any other team.

For the 2009 season the team welcomed a new beginning with the pairing of 2007 V8 Supercar Champion Garth Tander and new comer Will Davison.

The Toll Holden Racing Team is looking forward to delivering a strong finish to the season in 2009 and repaying the faith and support of its legion of fans, built over many years.
