HSV E Series 2 Maloo R8 WINS economy challenge
After seven days and 3147km of driving, a HSV E Series 2 Maloo R8 was crowned the winner of the 2009 Global Green Challenge, having made the biggest reduction in consumption compared to its fuel rating label. The economy run from Darwin to Adelaide saw the crew encounter an earthquake, a dust storm and sweltering conditions over seven days of endurance driving.
