Adelaide city cycle

Today was by far the hardest day for us in the Global Green Challenge, but the HSV Maloo pulled through.

We checked the route last night to find that there were plenty of steep hills, traffic lights and railway crossings.

Fortunately, what goes up must come down, and we saved a lot of fuel on the downhill runs.

Provisional results show we are on track to win the event, with by far the biggest improvement on the official fuel consumption label.

Final results will be published at 4pm Adelaide time today, after an official police escort through the centre of town.
