HSV and Murcotts join forces

The signing of a new landmark agreement links Australia’s premier high performance vehicle maker, Holden Special Vehicles, with Australia’s most respected and experienced driver training organisation, Murcotts Driving Excellence Pty Ltd. The new program will be known as HSV Driving Excellence.

In over 30 years of operation Murcotts have earned an enviable reputation for professionalism and knowledge, that makes it the ideal partner for HSV. Murcotts highly skilled staff recognise the fact that HSV not only creates a range of vehicles that offer high levels of performance, they also come in a thoroughly engineered package that includes an exceptional level of both passive and active safety features. The result will see the pair pool their collective expertise in developing a range of future driver training initiatives specifically geared toward HSV drivers, as well as HSV Dealer staff.

Using the latest driver training research and techniques and a controlled off-street environment, the ultimate aim of the program will be to give participants an in-depth awareness of road safety issues and driver intuition, as well as the importance of the correct behaviour and motivation when driving. It will also provide a better understanding of the depth of safety margins inherent in the handling and braking capabilities of an HSV so that they can fully appreciate and safely enjoy the HSV driving experience.
