HOLDEN SPECIAL VEHICLES CONGRATULATES RICK KELLY

Holden Special Vehicles Managing Director Phil Harding has congratulated the Toll HSV Dealer Team’s Rick Kelly on his performance at the final race of the 2006 V8 Supercar Championship today at Phillip Island, which has resulted in Rick being crowned this year’s ‘Drivers Champion’.

“This brings to an end a wonderful year for Rick, Garth and their crew, having already clinched the Teams Championship in Bahrain”, Phil Harding said.

“On behalf of HSV I would like to pay tribute to Rick and the entire Toll HSV Dealer Team on an outstanding 2006, capped off in spectacular circumstances today at Phillip Island”.

Toll HSV Dealer Team driver Garth Tander also had a very good season finishing fourth overall, while the Holden Racing Team's Mark Skaife and Todd Kelly performed strongly in many individual rounds, including podium finishes at the final race.

“All drivers have also been excellent ambassadors for Holden Special Vehicles and were an integral part of the launch of our new E-Series in 2006, as featured on the Toll HSV Dealer Team cars for the latter half of the season”, Phil Harding said.
